The
trek starts from Lamayuru, where the 10th Century's monastery is
located, around 125 Kms. from Leh Town. It then enters Zangskar Valley
passing through Wanla and the most remote villages of Lingshed. On the
9th and 10th day, one reaches Hanamur or Pishu via Karsha monastery to
Padum (headquarter of Zangskar valley). |
The cost includes:-
- Trekking equipments (sleeping bags, mattress, two men tents, kitchen tent and toilet tents)
- Camping and wild life fee
- Guide, cook and helpers
- Horses for the trek.
- Transportation(to and from the trekking point)
